Owner of shillong

As a teenager I coincidently have had experience in the restaurant field as my uncle Mr A Khan was a renowned master chef in the 1980s and ran two famous restaurants in India and Bangladesh named Kasturi, supplying food to the Government and the Foreign Delegates. In my free time I would help my uncle to prepare and occasionally assist with the cooking which eventually became a hobby. In the 1990’s I continued my hobby working for a number of restaurants in London, Dorset, Devon, West Sussex, Surrey and most recently in the West Midlands working with various Asian master chefs in the UK, further widening my Indian food knowledge. It was in the beginning of the 2000 that I took the step of running my own restaurant. Along with a Restaurant in Birmingham I now launch Shillong Indian Cuisine in the city of Chester to bring you the highest quality in authentic Indian food, great service and atmosphere.
